OUTREACH AND TEACHING
Jess is a busy workshop leader, music for health practitioner and teacher in Manchester. She has been a music tutor since 2012 and also has experience teaching GCSE/ A level support and music theory. She has also done various KS2 and KS3 music classroom teaching and has run several one off music workshops.
THE RIG
Jess is the creative administrator for The Rig as well as a workshop leader taking their “installation of musical curiosities” to festivals such as Geronimo and WOMAD and performing alongside the BBC Philharmonic for their recent children’s concert “The Amazing Sound Quest.” The Rig is an installation of curiosities comprising of 10 structures – a musical playground for all the family. Built from up-cycled objects turned into instruments and sound experiments, kids can really get creative with music.
